Gobind Sarvar School Establishment

1999
The first Gobind Sarvar School was founded in 1999, marking the tricentennial celebration of Khalsa Sirjna Divas. It was established next to Gurdwara Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Bulandpuri Sahib, Punjab. Through the profound love and blessings of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gobind Sarvar Schools have since expanded globally, with locations in Canada (British Columbia, Calgary, Ontario), the UK (Walsall), France (Paris), and the USA (Fresno, Michigan, and New York).

Gobind Sarvar Gurmat Schools were founded in Surrey to provide children an afterschool program with a strong foundation in history, guide them on their spiritual journeys, and equip them with essential tools for future success. Today, there are over 14 Gurmat School locations globally.

Building on the success of Gobind Sarvar’s Gurmat School, an Elementary School was first opened in Canada in Brampton, Ontario, with the mission of fostering academic excellence while nurturing students to become exemplary role models in society.

With over 750 students enrolled in the Surrey Gurmat School, there was a growing need for an Elementary School that upheld the same values in the Lower Mainland. This led to the establishment of Gobind Sarvar Surrey, followed closely by Gobind Sarvar Calgary, which now offers full-time education.
